Although it has been just over a year since Corey and Hollie's fall wedding, I'm looking back at their special day with such fond memories. And although it rained that day, Corey and Hollie were so overjoyed to be getting married, they didn't allow a little rain to dampen their spirits. They had originally planned to have their ceremony in the garden at the inn under the arbor, however the covered tented pavilion has ample space to have both their ceremony and the reception.
Arriving earlier in the day, I was able to get some fun shots of Hollie and her bridesmaids getting ready in the Paris Cottage. My second photographer, Anna, arrived shortly after I did and photographed Corey and his groomsmen before the ceremony under the covered front veranda. The veranda was a great solution for photos of the family, wedding party, and the couple after the ceremony too. There are many places throughout the inn for gorgeous photographs, rain or shine, indoors or outside!
After the ceremony and photographs, the reception was underway with the wedding party and then couple being introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Corey and Hollie went into their first dance as a newly married couple. After their first dance Hollie's dad blessed the meal and thanked everyone for joining them on such a special occasion. A buffet dinner was served and as always the food was amazing! After everyone enjoyed their meal, the maid of honor, a few of the couple's friends, and the cutest ring-bearer ever toasted the happy couple. Corey and Hollie then cut their wedding cake, which truly was a sweet moment in more ways than one!
After Hollie danced with her dad and Corey with his mother, the dance floor opened up to an evening of dancing. Michael, the DJ, was a pleasure to work with as he was organized and also knew how to get the guests out on the dance floor. The rain had finally slacked off somewhat at the end of the evening allowing for a sparkler exit. One of my favorite photos is of Corey & Hollie kissing at the end of the sparkler line before getting into their getaway car! It was a wonderful evening & Corey and Hollie were two of the kindest people, as were their families. It was such an enjoyable evening!
