For the fourth year in the row I'll be returning to photograph the annual father-daughter dance this Saturday, February 10th. This popular event hosted by the Kernersville-Parks and Recreation Department sells out every year! It will be great to see some familiar faces again and to see some new ones too. What I love most is seeing such excitement in these little girl's eyes. And you know their dads are super proud of their adorable little girls. Dan of On Target DJ always plays the popular songs that everyone loves. Its fun to work with him at this event every year (and every now and then at a wedding too!).
The few photos I'm sharing here on my blog were from the 2017 dance. Each year, they have a new theme and this year its Moana. The silver sequins background is always a popular one for events and since its a favorite, I'll be using it again this year. Only this time, I'll be adding a blue gel to the background light and hopefully add some "tropical" props to go along with the theme. Stay tuned for a blog post coming soon after the 2018 dance featuring a few photos from the evening. This event is always something I look forward to every winter!
