A One of a Kind Steampunk Themed Wedding!

It's been way too long since I have featured any of my weddings here on the blog. It's time to get back to it!

First off, I'm featuring Jason and Alice's October 2022 fabulous Steampunk themed wedding. It was truly one of a kind. Most of their guests and a few of the vendors dressed the part. It was amazing! Not to mention Jason and Alice were such a joy to work with.

These two had met years ago, had gone their separate ways, reconnected, started dating, and the rest is history! These two are just so sweet together and it truly shows that they adore one another.

Their first look was one of my all time favorites. They chose to see one another before the ceremony. Their excitement was hard to contain building up to the reveal. Jason's reaction was absolutely priceless, as seen in the photographs! Alice looked amazing in her custom designed dress. Her dressmaker, based in Kiev, Ukraine, specializes in historical costumes.

Everything about their wedding was just incredible. From all of the Steampunk details, to the gorgeous jewel toned flowers, to their amazing wedding cake which was not only one of a kind but also delicious.

And instead of a bouquet toss, Alice chose to throw a stuffed animal to all of the single ladies. Jason's grown daughter caught it and in her name, Jason and Alice donated $200.00 to an animal rescue. How sweet is this?

It was great to see Alice again earlier this summer when she hired me again to do her professional head shots on the campus of UNCG where she works (stay tuned for a blog post with photos and a late summer special on head shots). I was happy to learn that she and Jason had just bought their first house together and were in the process of getting settled.

It won't be much longer before their first anniversary and the busy fall wedding season is here again!
