The Saturday before last, I met Patrick and Shelby for their early morning engagement session at Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden. Shelby selected the gardens, as its a place she often visited when she was a little girl & has many fond memories of spending time there with her family. Patrick and Shelby drove down from Staunton, Virginia to Greensboro for the weekend to celebrate their engagement with their families and friends. Its been a few years since I've seen Shelby, when I was up at Mary Baldwin University photographing a special ring ceremony dance for the juniors and their fathers. Her family, whom I've known for years, are always a pleasure to work with!
Fast forward to present - Shelby and Patrick recently became engaged and are planning their wedding at The Frontier Culture Museum, also in Staunton, VA. We had a fun time at their session finding some of her favorite places. Then later that day, I joined them for their engagement party luncheon at the home of Shelby's family in Greensboro. Although a guest at the party, I couldn't resist taking a few pics for them to remember the celebration by! Below are a few from their session and then scroll down to see a few details from their party.
Looking forward to Patrick and Shelby's upcoming September wedding!
