Earlier this month, I taught another fun photography workshop at Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden. The workshop was "Fundamentals of Digital Photography" - a great class for the beginning to intermediate photographer, owning either a DSLR or Mirrorless camera system.
Although the class size was quite small, Leslie, John, and I had such a wonderful time together. They learned how to take their cameras off of the fully automatic mode and try other things such as shooting in manual. They learned what makes a better photo by trying different perspectives, rules of thirds, following leading lines, and more.
Today, I'm sharing their final favorites here. John also chose a few he liked from a recent trip he took, so some of them are not in the garden. He enjoys photographing landscapes and travel. Leslie is in horticulture and her favorite thing to photograph is flora and fauna - and of course nature.
If you missed this class, I will be teaching it again in the future at Ciener Garden and possibly other locations too. I also can teach private lessons, if interested. Next up is a travel photography workshop I'm teaching at the John C. Campbell Folk School in Western NC. The dates are June 25th-July 1st, 2023 so it's coming right up! More info HERE!
Also, for all of you Smartphone Photographers out there! I am teaching another workshop on August 22nd, 2023 at Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden. Register HERE!
Hope all of you enjoy Leslie and John's work - their photo credits are each watermarked on images - please do not copy without permission. Seeing their work, I hope it inspires you to take one or more of my future photography workshops!
