Back in May of this year, I was thrilled I was able to schedule this sweet baby girl "K's" newborn session. Although I typically don't offer many newborn sessions, unless they a repeat client and more along the lines of an in-home lifestyle session. In this case, it was both! Baby "K's" mother and father, Catherine and Johnathon, are one of my wedding couples from five years ago! I was so excited when Catherine reached out to me late last fall announcing her wonderful news and to see if I'd be willing to capture this very special time in their lives. Then the pandemic hit and I was pretty much shut down when baby "K" came into this world in early May.
We waited a couple of weeks after she was born and until restrictions were lifted more. And of course we all made sure we were healthy. This was my first session of any kind during the pandemic, since I'd been isolated in my home since mid-March! I went to their home in Greensboro for the session and took all precautions to keep everyone safe. Catherine's mother, Linda, came to help out too (and I made sure to get several 3 generation photos, of course!). Linda is pretty special in my life too, as she's a wellness coach of mine. Catherine & Linda did all the posing, touching, and so forth. We took our time that morning and everything went so well. Even baby "K" was so easy and didn't fuss at all. Here it is, 5 months later I'm finally sharing my favorites!
Time has slipped by this year and as we all know, its been an interesting time for all. Don't let the special moments in your life stop you from having them captured photographically too! Please get in touch!
